June 2007 Rydal Community Garden

Rydal Community Vegetable Garden is a small volunteer program in the original Walled Garden Rydal Hall is located in the Lake District in England. The garden was flooded and abandoned for many years. In 2005, they began to understand the landscape, and back garden productivity. The idea was to create a working garden, run by volunteers who, in turn, benefit from the exchange of ideas and the harvest season, local organic products. This has created an additionalbe visited feature in the gardens recently restored Rydal Hall, to see everyone as a place to relax and learn. The garden is a small shelter, trails and signs.
