Three More Organic Pest Control Tips For Your Garden

For the health of you, your family and pets who visit and eat from your beautiful garden the best pest control is with the help of Mother Nature. With this in mind here are three more ways to naturally rid your garden of unwanted or bad-bugs:

First of all you can personally hand pick the larvae, eggs and worms. I suggest looking for them whenever you go to your garden or at the very least once a week during growing and harvesting season.

Secondly this technique is used in the fall, while it's still cold outside you can expose the pupae to good-bugs, frogs and birds by tilling the surrounding soil. That way Mother Nature's helpers can more easily do their jobs.

Thirdly, if you need more immediate results perhaps this recipe for Homemade Organic Insecticidal Soap for garden veggie bad-bugs will help. But keep in mind this organic, environmentally safe soap can also kill the good bugs so only use it when absolutely necessary...

Homemade Organic Insecticidal Soap for Garden Recipe: You will need...

The following items:
Gallon container or bottle to mix and store
A Spray bottle

The following ingredients:
3 Tablespoons Organic soap (I like Dr. Bronner's Organic soap it is so safe you can brush your teeth with)
2 Tablespoon Organic oil (I use organic cold pressed olive oil)
1 Clove of Organic Garlic
1 tsp. Organic Cayenne Pepper
1 Gallon Water (city water users I suggest using filtered or Mountain Spring)

(FYI: You can even buy a gallon jug of purified or mountain spring water at most supermarkets and this gives you the container with the filtered or purified water ready for the above ingredients)

Simple Steps:

Fill the Gallon container about halfway with water.
Add the above ingredients to this Gallon container.
Then fill the Gallon container with the rest of the water, put the lid on securely and shake it up until it is well mixed.
Pour well mixed liquid into your spray bottle.
You can and should put the lid back on the Gallon container and save the remaining mixture to refill the spray bottle when needed. This will have even more garlic properties in it. Be sure to store it in a cool preferably dark place.

Congratulations! You have just made your own safer, better for you and your family natural and organic insecticidal soap at a fraction on the cost of caustic dangerous chemical insecticides usually purchased at the store.
